The tradition of great wines from Mendoza continues with the creation of Gran Reserva Malbec from the vineries of Plaza de Grillos (‘Cricket Square’). We use the superb grapes of Finca de Cielo which we manually harvest, ferment and age in first-use French Oak barrels.
The singing of crickets inspires the work in our cellars at the foot of the Andes where viniculture and nature work in harmony to bring out unrivaled taste.
These grapes come from a meticulous selection of the best lots from Finca La Cielo, located in the Mendoza region of Argentina. At 1km above sea level and protected by the Andes Mountain range, the soil of our vineyard has unique characteristics which produce a wine with excellent complexity and an intense nose of black and red fruit like raspberries. With elegant, soft oral notes, good concentration and structure on the palate, this elaborate and excellent wine has been made for the discerning palate to enjoy.
The makers of this superb Malbec have used skills learnt at the larger Mendoza vineyards to create a new boutique vinery. The aim is to provide smaller quantities of higher quality.
